I know you probably hear this all the time, but do you think it's real? Is there such thing as love at first sight?
I do believe in lust at first sight. But not love. Love is formed, developed over time and not something you "find" or "see" in someone.
You might find someone attractive as soon as you see him/her. But I don't think you can immediately fall in love with someone like that. If you do, it probably isn't real love.
Or maybe I'm wrong. What does #offtopic think?

I've experienced it before. It's weird tho. It's almost as if it's kind of... uncontrollable in a way. Ugh words me no put thoughts into good.
wort
Edited by destroyervortex: 9/27/2016 11:32:26 PMNo, I don't. Because I've seen a lot of girls I liked but not loved. This coming from the guy who has never had a girlfriend

Blind people
-
Of course there is. If your body is messed up and starts producing the appropriate chemicals the moment you lay eyes on him/her.
-
It's hard to say. When I first met her, I almost instantly had a spark of interest, whether I knew it or not. But I didn't realise I loved her until she was gone.
-
No. I'm willing to be proven wrong, but so far I haven't seen anything in favor of it.
-
No. To love someone, you would need to get to know them deeply. Which takes time. If two people fall for each other at first sight, their relationship will most likely fail.
-
See I never used to and I'm not sure that this even counts tbh but I met a lad on destiny, we started as friends so we only messaged on the playstation then we decided to swap numbers, pictures sent etc good looking lad but wasn't anything magical, just friends, there wasn't lust or anything and then I saw him for the first time on Skype and that was it, it was like an overwhelming amount of love for this person and he's now said it was mutual. Still yet to meet properly so that could change but that's the first time in my life I've ever felt instant love for someone.

Absolutely not. Love isn't even real

Yes, I believe in love at first sight. I'll never forget the first time I saw her. She was gorgeous. I was amazed at how beautiful my reflection was. I love me, some me!
-
I don't think so. But over time, I've grown confused over the concept of love, so I couldn't really say either.
-
You're always told there's always another person waiting for you, and that you'll find your soul mate at some point. Many people are told this. But many people aren't, and it's those same people that get told otherwise. There's no "love at first sight." It's "love if you're lucky." And in a world of 7 billion people, at the same time that's totally -blam!-ed up (assuming most even want a partner), it's a good thing. Which is the blunt, ironic truth.

I don't know, when stuff clicks, it clicks...right? \/(o.o)\/

Well i have seen jessica alba, so my answer is yes
-
Honestly, I don't believe in love at first sight. I agree with your line of thinking, love is slowly built up as you get to know the person. Just don't see it happening the moment you see the person although haven't experienced it myself so who knows.
-
You know I've never known a girl who was interested in me. Lol

Edited by LahDsai: 9/25/2016 1:18:58 PMYes, its called "becoming a parent". As for romantic love, I believe in attraction at first sight which can turn into love. Hard to say when exactly that transition takes place though, meaning it would be, in effect, love at first sight.

She said she look at him in the eyes and was just dumbfounded. He ended up waiting for her until the end of the night and she closed at 2:30 am. The have been married for over 40 years

I'll believe it when it happens. *checks watch* Any time now...
-
Yes, Haven't found it, nor know any who have
-
I'm legally blind so i feel it is decieving to base love off of sight
-
Mmmm leaning towards no. However, I have had it where i saw someone and how they acted and immediately was interested because of their personality. But interest isn't love.
