What is the best thing you've ever eaten? Maybe it's your mother's homemade lasagna. Maybe it was that sandwich you had for lunch today. Or maybe you haven't had it yet?
If you have photos PLEASE post them 😋

Not to toot my own horn as I'm certainly no chef, but all the things I'd pick that are coming to mind atm are things I've fixed. Which includes; - The above. I'll let you try and figure out what that is. - Raisin bread pepperjack grilled cheese with bacon and a little bit of syrup drizzled on top - Toasted sandwich on raisin bread (don't feel like listing what was in it) - Toasted turkey patty burgwich on raisin bread (I'd say what was in it, but the recipe is on my pc and I can't be arsed) - Baked macaroni casserole with cheese, ground turkey, minced italian sausage both simmered in barbecue sauce, a special sauce that I coated the macaroni in and a failed attempt at bachamel sauce that ended up being like milky cheese, but still tasted alright. I have pics of it, but they're poopy quality and don't provide much detail.

In the tiny agricultural town that I grew up in, there was this little Mexican restaurant. In general, the food was just decent. However, their carne asada... ...was to die for! Every now and again I think about taking a little trip back there (both the town and the restaurant) for nostalgia's sake, but it would be weird to go alone.

Used to live by this restaurant chain called McCallister's, and you could order a huge ass baked potato that was split down the middle and riddled with cheese and bacon and holy shit now I'm hungry

Edited by KittyTheQuiet1: 9/24/2016 2:21:19 AMI took a large roast, soaked it in Whiskey overnight, cut it in half and threw it in a hot cast iron pan with portobello mushrooms, onion, peppers and garlic. The mushrooms I had to buy at a store, but the roast came from a local farm and the other ingredients were homegrown. Well, minus the Whiskey. The potatoes on the side ended up covered in the drippings and veggies. Medium rare, seered to perfection.

Black Forest gâteau. (Black Forest cake in America) "Typically, Black Forest gateau consists of several layers of chocolate sponge cake sandwiched with whipped cream and cherries. It is decorated with additional whipped cream, maraschino cherries, and chocolate shavings. In some European traditions, sour cherries are used both between the layers and for decorating the top." - Wikipedia * sips hot chocolate *
