This post was shared on a post of mine I've made to help people (until recently...) It's all well and good that you say when you're infected you can still get infected again but where's the proof? I've tried and tried and tried and tried but to no avail. I keep hearing you can but no one provides proof. I'm not meaning to be a d I c k. I just wanna know for sure, I'm just curious. Have a nice day, Guardians

  • Tried with friends in mayhem rumble when I was giving out my five to them. One of our guys joined with a character who had two strains. Usual method of passing it (we super them, they then get a precision kill on us) didn't work. Nothing worked. I really don't think you can get more. My hunter on my main account is stuck at two. I ran crucible match after crucible match with him. No dice. Wonder if you need a freshly infected person to then infect those already infected? Maybe there is a window of infection? Like characters with the virus already are less likely to infect an already infected character than someone who is freshly infected? Wondering because when I was helping infect people, I switched to a new character and after a friend with all five had killed me and my sister with their super, she killed him and got all five... So since she was just standing around, I killed her, and got all five from her. But then in a later match, we were infecting a new friend and I killed him with my super and then he killed my sister while waiting for me, and didn't get infected. Actually, I guess maybe being killed by the same super in the first instance made it possible for us to contract the virus off each other, but in the second instance only I had killed our friend with my super so he could only get it off me?

  • I had splendor on my hunter at one point. Several hours later I had 2 more,so it must be possible somehow. I think you cant contract any new virus's from someone who has a virus in common. This would explain why transferring all 5 to someone with one wont work, because both parties will have that virus. I think to contract them you have to find someone with the opposite virus's.

I have no idea. I've seen no concrete proof that you can get infected more than once

  • Me neither. Tried everything with my main hunter, and there were three people infected with all five trying everything to infect my already infected friend. I'm doubting it's possible.

I have 5 on titan. 2 on warlock and hunter and I've tried every way I can think off. Nothing works. I'm waiting for someone to prove me wrong.
