Zones

Hi, I bought a french canadian version of Destiny for ps4 that was labeled "zone free" (it says "all" at the back of the case, code is "CUSA 00219F" on the side) but I cannot play the DLCs nor can I access the ps store from in game. I have a french /french/ ps4 with a french ps account which I used to buy the DLCs. I knew about the zones but I thought it'd work since the game was "zone free".... I want to make sure it's indeed a zone problem before buying a "true french" version of destiny. I wouldn't want to end up with 2 versions of destiny, both not working with the DLCs ^^' So my question is: is it indeed a zone problem? is the french canadian version of destiny incompatible with the french /french/ ps store?

  • Hello mel_ackerman, This does, indeed, sound like a possible zone issue. The problem may exist because you have a North American version of the game and a European version of the DLCs. If this is the case then purchasing a European version of the game should solve the problem. I do suggest that you contact your console manufacturer to make sure this is the case and that repurchasing is your best course of action. Hope that helps.
