[STORY TIME] What is the weirdest thing that happened between you and a stranger.
I think my weirdest or rather most confusing event with someone was a year ago at the Gamescom. I accidentally hit someone in the back with my backpack and after turning around and trying to say sorry i noticed that it was a girl from my class who likes Anime etc and was at the Gamescom for all the Cosplays.

A Mexican guy wanted to take a picture of me at my job to prove to his overweight cousin that overweight people can work jobs that require you to be on your feet a lot. I let him take the pic because I really didn't give a shit. A hour after I let him take it my paranoia kicked in and I kept thinking that maybe he took the pick for some kidnapping reason or some crazy stuff.

4 RepliesHere's a good one for you. Riding the shuttle to work one morning, and some asian guy looks at me and says, "hey John." Not my name. I look around and confirm that it's me he's talking to. I figure I must have met him before, and he just got my name wrong. There's other people around and I don't want to embarrass they guy, so I say "hey. Sorry what's your name again?" He tells me, and then starts asking me things I have no idea about. It's at this point I realize he thinks I'm someone else; he thinks I'm his friend/acquaintance John. I give one word answers or say "oh I forget" and hope my standoffishness makes him shut up. He does, and we thankfully make it to work where we part our ways. Phew, it's over. Nope. I see this guy randomly over the next few months (we work in the same building afterall) and he keeps trying to talk to me. In one particularly awkward encounter, he looks at me inquisitively and says "John you still work here? I thought you moved to California??" I laugh and say "nope" and make a beeline for the stairs. He follows, with more questions, before I make it to the cafeteria and he decides to go back downstairs. Haven't seen the guy over the past six months. I think he must have changed jobs. Thank god. Lesson learned. CORRECT PEOPLE IF THEY GET YOUR NAME WRONG.

In High school fewshman year, I was orienteering with a few of my classmates somewhere when 40 something dude walked up to us. In the middle of the woods. He started talking to us, and asking what we were all up to. We told him what we were doing and he asked if he could take a picture with us. We took the picture and left as quick as we could.

Well me and some friends were coming out of a music venue late one evening. We got to my car (I'm always the designated driver) and some rather strung out looking woman started banging on the window. I wound it down and ask what she wanted, to which she replied "hey guys, I don't mind doing groups if you fancy it...." We all politely declined and I drove off as quick as I could. I put the car through the carwash the next day. It kinda felt unclean after having her touch it.

9 RepliesOk, this involves me technically so it works. Me and my gf were just driving around at 3am, outskirts of the city, when we found a dog on the road. He looked lost so i parked on the side if the road and gf got out to try and get him. He kept backing off, barking, like he was frightened. So while she was trying to get the dog to come to her, some middle age guy in a somewhat nice car parked across the street. He looks at my gf and says "is your name cheryl?" We decided to leave after that. Neither of us want her being mistook for a prostitute.

Oh this one is good So this guy, he walks up to me, and he speaks to me... HE WAS TRYING TO MAKE CONVERSATION WITH ME!!!! CAN YA BELIEVE IT????!??!???
