Hello PadawonJohn,
Do you have access to the Companion App? If so, navigate to your Legend and click on the MoT Banner, then click on the shirt.
If you have done this and the code is still not there, please clear your cache and try again.

Thank you. I was able to receive my code this way. But now in the bungie store it won't let me proceed check out to enter my code because the cart is above 5,000$

I would make sure you only have the MoT shirt in your cart and then proceed to check out. The code can then be entered in the "Gift card or Discount code" area when you are entering your information.
