I played around with it for a few hours and it's like a mini hawksaw, hit your headshots and it'll drop an opposing guardian very efficiently, get body shots then you better be good at evading or jumping around to get that third burst off. And it's not like the burst makes the gun jump drastically, so hitting you shots isn't that hard to do...
