Yes, you can get from decrypting exotic special weapon engrams. I would say save the rest of your engrams, and just use a few for the Trespasser. You'll get plenty of chances for better gear in RoI.

So taken King engrams will turn into rise of iron gear when it launches?

Based on how we are decrypting the Trespasser, I would have to say that engrams transfer over to Rise of Iron. But make sure to have Three of coins just in case.

I got mine from an exotic special weapon engram obtained from a crucible match with 2 three of coins stacks on.
