I tend to be a stealthy sniper. I won't be getting all that many kills but I'm not killed as much.

Spot enemies Help clear a flag of enemies at range Thin the heard of incoming enemies Overwatch a flag or two Give enemy players a more vital target Provide an extra spawn point Help with lock ons Not to mention any other things you can do based on the class or vehicle you are using for your sniping
