i just figured it out! if the strangers rifle was gonna be a exotic, but it wasn't, the fate of all fools was the exotic it was gonna be, thats why no one can get it. so giving it to that one guy was just bungie being lazy and giving him a gun they already had!

really?? Bungie is lazy? because they went out of their way to give a very brave person a gun? how is that lazy? if they were lazy, they wouldn't have given him anything.
