It started as a buzz, barely noticeable. Like a fly hovering a few inches from your ear. Then it got louder. Not noticeably louder, but it definitely increased in volume. This went on for a time.....

Whatever it was chose to ignore him, and he took advantage of this fact. Settling back down to the decking, he walked over to Sontares and gripped his skull.
