One of my fireteam mates swore by Light/Beware. Two great fusion rifles on opposite spectrums. 77 Wizard had raw firepower, but a slow charge time, whereas Light/Beware charged much faster, and had marginally less damage. Each of us swore by our own fusion rifles back then. But one thing is certain - they were MUCH more user friendly back then, making them much more fun to use IMO. I loved watching my 77 Wizard destroy the major minotaur in front of me and watching the other adds (goblins, herpes, hobgoblins) all die as the streams overpenetrated. And my super bar would fill up so fast!
