I agree with your statement. But I am hoping Rise of Iron will delve deep into that story. Including the SIVA and why humanity created it /it's purpose, and the original Iron Lords and their service to the Last City

Totally. TTK was a big step in the right direction. ROI is a really good opportunity to delve into the world's history.
