There are HoW grimoire cards where Eris and Mara (and others) are talking to each other in the reef. Eris and Mara were planning for oryx before the tower was.

Indeed they were. That doesn't disprove what I say but their interactions with my headcanon are rather awesome

So how would Eris be kneeling before Mara in the reef talking to Uldren and Osiris if they were the same person?

I...um I guess you're new to the intersecting timelines idea. Present day, Oryx "takes" a dead/wounded Mara Sov, and sends her back in time. Now Mara Sov, as Eris, is in the past. Now, past turns to present. And we have Sov and Eris in the same timeline.

I guess you aren't familiar with Back to the Future. People can't interact with themselves in the same timeline or the universe ends ;) Creative, but still one of the craziest ones I've seen here in a while. Still better than the one where Eris is Eriana-3 and Nokris though

Well, you're right about one thing. I'm pretty unfamiliar with Back to the Future, on account of the fact I've never watched that series. But this isn't Back to the Future, it's Destiny. It has its own set of rules. But if we were to compare timelines, then I'd give deference to the show that's been all about time travel for over 50 years now, Doctor Who, and in DW, the past selves could interact with future selves :)
