If I could could go somewhere in the tower and actually read up on the lore I would spend the time to do so but since I can't then I think it's just a lazy effort of bungie

That statement is so hypocritical it's mind blowing.
-
Here's the thing. I'm the paying customer and bungie is working for us. I say lazy but having to go elsewhere other than in game to read about lore doesn't exactly set the mood.
-
They don't work for you, what a load of bull. They develop a game you buy that's it. And I'm sure with your attitude they would gladly refund you and ban you forever. Self entitled toad.
-
Get off your high horse dude. You act as if I'm outside with signs demanding that bungie recuperate me. I'm merely suggesting on their forums that the story be IN THE GAME as it should be. I don't want to break immersion reading up on the lore outside of game.
-
The lore is too deep to put into the game, people where hounding them for ages for the ability to skip the future scenes. That shows that most people just wanna shoot shit.
-
You could read it on the same site/app you used to make this post.
-
There could be hours of reading on the grimoire, I'm not about to sit there and stare at my phone for hours on end to read them.
-
But reading it for hours on your television screen that's across the room is a better experience?
How much different is it if you're sat at your console reading compared to sitting at your computer or on your phone reading the identical information?
Only a fraction of the playerbase actually goes to this website. It is not an overexaggeration to say that 90% of the Destiny does NOT know the story. No game should require its players to leave it to learn its story. The website should function as an alternative and should have things that help flesh it out. Bonus content basically. Modern days or not. Its lazy & should not be repeated in Destiny 2.

I've seen multiple people here say they understood the story without ever reading a single piece of grimoire. You're talking about the extended story and it's not required reading. They can add more story details into the next game for sure, and that would be great, but that doesn't mean you're going to get a full story and understand everything when Destiny 2 still has us only in a fraction of what they're building up to.
