Today, Sony accidentally tweeted some very valuable information regarding the well-anticipated first DLC for Dark Souls 3.
Called Ashes of Ariandriel, the screenshots in the tweet showed an icy area and revealed details regarding the content, such as a new ice spell and unique sword, along with an exclusive PVP area called Immortal Competition.
While the tweet has since been taken down, undoubtedly not to spoil FromSoft's big reveal on the 24th, screenshots can be found and the release date has been leaked: October 25th.
As a diehard Souls fan, I'm so hyped for this, and the next, DLC. \`[-|-]/
EDIT
The trailer has been released!
It confirms the suspicions of the new frost spell and light boomerang, and brings to question many more things.

Edited by ObamaBinLaden: 8/24/2016 2:11:24 PMreally hope that a 2.0 patch releases alongside it to make pvp balanced/fun to play. all weapons need to be viable (dark 2), poise should be redone (make it like dark 1, maybe), invasion mechanics need to be reworked (don't prioritize ganks), and rolling needs less i-frames or more recovery, among other things
