Isn't the new tomb raider exclusive Xbox1 for ONE entire year!!!
That's the biggest exclusivity outrage I know about!!! I'm generally no fan of this and I feel your pain, but it's not a destiny specific issue....

It's a game that is exclusive for an entire year. Now imagine this. Microsoft lets Sony have 3 story Missions from Tomb Raider and that's it. However you have to pay the same amount that Xbox players pay. See this bullshit?

console vs. cross console exclusives can not be compared, I want legend of Zelda on my Xbox type of thing.

true its a cross console game but it was console exclusive for a year, but the ps still did not have to pay for it until it was released for the system, they were no charged a year before then have to wait for availability. but then again I was talking about Zelda.

Not the same thing. Tomb Raider is an exclusive game for a year. This has been practice for years - taking it to the extreme you have Nintendo games which only appear on Nintendo consoles. This is exclusive content in a game currently available for XB. I'm not aware of any content exclusives for a multi format game which stretch to two years beyond this one. The big issue here though is the way Bungie addressed it or, more accurately, didn't until they were caught out by the community. Had they come out first and said the exclusivity period was being extended then folk would have been annoyed but at least they'd have treated the XB fans with a bit more respect. Here, they just ignored the issue and hoped no one noticed and only admitted to it when interviewed. Their attitude to the whole thing is the issue. Sure, it's Sony and Activision who make the deal and Bungie have to live with it but they could have been more up front about the whole thing.

I see your point, but it's not that tomb raider was always an Xbox game like Mario on Nintendo. And I am shocked that it's just randomly unlucky that I have the wrong console to play the next episode of my favourite game... The destiny exclusives aren't that special (well hawkmoon was, ok) that you guys miss out that much, but I agree of course that it's not cool they keep this stuff away from you for so long!! So I'm with you all the way, I actually dislike the whole exclusive business as such! Maybe for a few weeks but anything beyond that is just ridiculous!!

If you are debating weather or not to buy rise of the tomb raider, the game is freaking amazing. And, Bungie take notes, it has plot twist! It got me into the game and I bought the first game due to this one. Absolute blast!

Well the first tomb raider was the first game I played properly. I love the franchise and really, REALLY want to play the new one! But I will NOT buy a Xbox because of it being exclusive...
