Louisiana is flooding, and nobody cares.
Really? Because I hear about it everywhere I go. But it's kinda hard to be surprised by this when you build your cities below sea level with whole ton of rivers nearby and crumbling infrastructure...

More evidence for my long-standing theory that liberals only claim to care about others & are callous at heart. The flood is not being reported in the national media in proportion to its severity, and you shouldn't blame the people who live in these places for their current plight. Remember, not everyone has the luxury of choosing their circumstances. As a liberal, you of all people should know that.

I never said they deserved this, or anything of the sort.
But it's kinda hard to be surprised by this when you build your cities below sea level with whole ton of rivers nearby and crumbling infrastructure...
Nobody saw this coming. You haven't educated yourself about the level of devastation here. Places that have never flooded before, in the entire history of the state, were inundated with several feet of floodwater. Places like Denham Springs that are more low-lying & have experienced heavy flooding in the past were consumed almost entirely. 90% of homes in Denham Springs have been completely destroyed. 90%. The infrastructure to cope with that level of devastation simply doesn't exist, not here, not anywhere, and insinuating that we should have seen it coming is disingenuous at best. Don't try to walk back on this.
