Why do you also conveniently forget that only 5% of slaves came to the US and that less than 2% of the white population owned slaves and that at the height of slavery, the number of black and white owners were equal? Do you honestly think we're the only race that can hold slavery and segregation over our heads? More Italians were lynched than ever blacks and the Irish were completely excluded from vast sections of life for being Irish. You're marginialising the extent of slavery because there were thousands and thousands of white slaves. I'm not going to allow thugs and racists try to bring me down to the level of a slave just so I can get black brownie points. I am not a slave and neither are you.
