3 RepliesI've played enough Crucible to know when something is wrong. I know and have used pretty much every popular weapon in PvP. Crap like that is happening more often. I know when I have been melted too fast by a particular weapon. It's sad that more people are using modded controllers. Last saturday night in trials match I was using PDX-45 and was out gunned at close range by Convalances Duty. He put 3 shots in me before I could fire a second burst. Once they made it 3-0 he switched primaries.

It was more than likely lag, I've seen that happen with scout rifles when there is lag. Consider all possibilities and contingencies before assuming it's a cheater. You almost opened that person up to potential harassment when it was more than likely the result of a bad internet connection.

3 RepliesIt was likely just lag. I played with a guy recently who seemed to be doing high impact scout damage with his MIDA. I was paying close attention to his shots and it [i]definitely[/i] looked that way. I reported him a couple times (yeah, I was salty). But, he messaged me after the match with a sort of GG message. We chatted for a bit and I even brought up the MIDA issue. It was clearly just lag. I felt bad about reporting him after that. 😒

That is pure BS cheating, anyone who says it's full auto or armour piercing rounds is delusional. That's a heavy weapon ttk with more range and accuracy with the ability to shoot through walls....

Why should the lagger get the upper hand every time. Don't you think it's broken if it's not cheating? Either way there is no excuse for any of this to happen.

There's deffo lag involved coz your kill notifications take a while to pop up, however it does look like she's using a modded controller with a rapid fire perk. I don't like to judge but I've played a shit tonne of crucible n 99% of the time when I see dodgy stuff, be it red bars, modded controllers, or just general dubious stuff, they've usually got a flawless emblem. I've often wondered are they actually cheating, or just benefitting from whatever advantage the shitty netcode gives them? I actually had a spell a few months ago where I recorded the number of scarabs I bumped into and the vast majority had red bar, and where usually hunters using last word, with a high amount being arabic or african, ie Saudi, Kuwait (q8), etc Again no idea if cheats or just bad mm giving them huge advantages.

Anyone can google it & place an order. It can also up the damage for Suros Regime, specifically - - I saw this one in action myself yesterday. If this is permitted and becomes more prevalent, I suppose it'll be time for a new controller. With all of these unwanted nerfs, part of me can't really fault these users but so much. Does anyone know if bans are/have been handed out to folks using these controllers?
