I've told people on other topics that this can happen. BUT NO, don't listen to the crazy goblin. I'm not gonna post it here but there are several youtube videos showing people using Hawksaw like an auto rifle.

2 RepliesThat's straight-up cheating. The rate of fire is all wrong, with no delay between bursts (which a pulse rifle with auto-fire would have). Not sure how it's done, but I guess he's using a PC as a proxy (passig his connection through it), with something editing network traffic to/from his console running on it. To those who were wondering, a modded controller can't do that unless a) there is no software fire rate limit (which there is) or b) there's a bug like the Hammer of Sol spam glitch (unlikely).

31 RepliesObviously not cheating. Don't think people realise how little outright cheating there actually is in destiny. You get a little bit of lag (honestly its not even that bad) and everyones some pro hacker. Also, doesn't hawksaw always fire quicker than most machine guns? I mean its got a faster ROF than most of the high impact LMG's anyway.

Lol, I swear some people. It's not lag people, it's a mod. There's an actual website dedicated to cheating at destiny. This is one of those.

Its definitely not a mod controller wise, Even with a cronusmax / titan one adapter. The gamepacks only allow for rapid fire but all that would do is make your gun fully automatic, but fire rate caps still apply. The only way to bypass the fire rate cap is with a jitter mod but currently the grenade / reload glitch seems to only be effective only with a semi auto in CoD. As of now there is no jitter for destiny so how that fire rate was achieved blows my mind.

I've see this mod/hack a few times. Not sure if it's a modified controller or an actual game hack or what but it's out there and spreading. Full auto pulse rifles! And not full auto like the perk. Full auto as in auto rifles. Crazy.

That has been happening for long time when u shoot a pulse rifle like and auto rifle or a scout like a pulse rifle, I don't know what cose it,it could be lag or it could be some sort of app u download but I may be wrong, I am sure there few videos of it on yt

That's just BS. This cheating nonsense (I have been shot by people through 4 walls from the other side of the map by a rocket launcher), the Lag, the IP Exploits and the refusal of BungiVision to have Regional Dedicate Host Servers to solve 99% of this crap are the reason I refuse to play Crucible any longer. And if Destiny 2.0 doesn't have Regional Dedicated Host Servers, I won't be buying it.

I will add that the sound of the weapons being fired at you are not accurate. for example Sleeper Simulant sounds like a machine gun when you get hit by it fast pulse riffles sound like auto riffles with no break in sound when you get hit by them
