How to prepare for Rise of Iron

Before I get into it though I want to not you don't have to do all of this only what you think will benefit you the most. How to prepare for RoI: This will be a list I'll create people will comment and add ideas and such for those who might be new to preparing for a new DLC I'll be adding some obvious ones. This is rule number one: level up your guardian to 40 and light level 325-355 at least you'll have a hard time doing the missions and such other wise This one is pretty important, edge (edging is where you get you faction reallllly close to leveling up) all your factions or at least the important ones: vanguard, crucible, your preferred or all the factions new monarchy and such (also a little tip keep some completed bounties for crucible and vanguard to turn in to immediately level it up on the start on RoI) edgings might not be as important as it was for TTK but you still might have a chance at a new gun or something. Edge around a week before the release of RoI. This ones also quite important. Max out your legendary marks. Get 200 and keep it till the release of RoI many items will most likely be bought by legendary marks. Here's a pro start too if you can do it complete all trial of Osiris Bounties and keep em. spend your legendary marks on whatever in RoI and turn in the trials Osiris bounties when your out you'll get your refill of legendary marks then. This ones on my top things to do. Save motes of light and weapon telemetrys they both are vital to leveling up new gear. This ones pretty simple. Keep strange coins 60+ at least Xur the evil kenevil he is might sell useless things for RoI but maybe not roll the dice if you want to save the strange coins This one could be important or just useless. Keep some legendary or exotic engrams I believe it's been confirmed that no new guns will drop from old engrams but better light leveled weapons and armor would since the light levels been increased and the raid preparation time is only 3 days getting that light level up is vital. This one depends on you. Find a group of players to play with before hand, so you can rush through the RoI content and level up really quickly. Now if you'd rather play it alone you'll be fine but definitely find people ahead of time so when raid time comes you can play it LFG sites will be destroyed with the massive influx of people using them for weeks after the release. This ones reallllly eh. Make new or level up characters. one of each or the same of one class. Like having three Titans means three raid runs. Or if your like me and like some diversity in your game make a warlock Titan and hunter this has a load more grinding but if you want diversity you'll be happy in the end. This ones for the collectors. If you see ships shaders class items you want buy em now they will most likely be replaced with something else that's been the case for every other DLC I can't confirm with this one though but I'll put bets on it so start collecting. This is a lot of work for some but worth it. Save up on materials weapon parts and armor materials and all those spirit blooms and the such you'll most likely burn through them leveling up new gear and spending legendary marks to buy more is such a waste. This is something that may or may not work. I'd save up on three of coins I'm sure they'll drop new and better gear but I don't like confirming what I don't know. Now that's all I can think of at the moment I probably won't add anymore on and let others do that since this is pretty much all my ideas.
