Oh, please, it's been nerfed way past necessary. It was perfectly fine before April. It might even get a buff since one of the artifacts reduces burn damage. :D

Edited by TeslaDoc: 8/3/2016 5:21:50 AMThe original "Thorn Meta" went on for an embarrassingly long time and it was so out of whack. I still have PTSD from that shit. Never again. If they buff Thorn and one artefact reduces burn/poison damage, it will become necessary to use that one artefact and the meta will be back.

Also if everyone has the artifact to counter it then the gun will be useless. Besides as of right now it's one of the worst guns in the game. I mean go compare it to grasp or your every day sniper rifle.

Yeah, but that was year one. Thorn was nerfed again with TTK and was actually balanced. Then the April Update nerfed it again and the burn is literally useless now. It doesn't feel exotic at all. If it just falls back to TTK level, I think it would be perfect again.

Problem with thorn is, you punch someone in the face enough and they'll hate you for it. Hence why Thorn and TLW are so aggressively despised.
