Remove a cat's main line of defense? Where's the logic in that?

And? Dangers can enter the home. You aren't perfectly safe inside of your house.

Most people keep their cats inside, so defense really isn't needed. Others simply declaw the front two paws, but leave the claws in the back two for defense.
