Destiny vet fan logic

I don't understand the logic in vigorously complaining about destiny all the time but saying its a great game worth fighting for. I mean seriously, lol, things ppl complain about: "Destiny needs fun" Lag/servers Weapon imbalance/nerfs Matchmaking Custom games Lack of events Bring back yr1 Lack of story Repetitive If it's so bad, why not play another game? It's that simple. Don't say you don't think it's bad when you're saying things like: "it's not fun, it's too serious, fix your lag, balance your weapons, stop punishing us, respect our time(bring back yr1 weapons/gear), etc..." on a daily basis. Lol, that's just being facetious and stubborn. If you want pvp: battlefield, overwatch, doom, halo, cod, etc If you want fun: sports games, shooting games, racing games, go outside, Netflix, etc If you want custom games: halo, cod, any major pvp game If you want better weapon balance: any pvp game not destiny If you want smooth gameplay: halo, cod, battlefield, etc. If you want less lag: any major pvp game not destiny If you want a story: fallout 4, gta v, last of us, halo, Bethesda games etc. If you want large team based game modes(raids/heists): Warframe, gta v, neverwinter, eso, any mmo If you want a game that combines several of these modes: Warframe, any mmo, any game with a campaign and pvp.. Destiny isn't the only option. Think about how much money you've spent on destiny already with those half assed dlcs almost worth a full game, which could've been spent on 2-3 full, quality games. Not a complete list of games, but feel free to add games you feel worth mentioning if you want. "It used to be fun!" Guess what, it's not anymore right? That's what you're saying. It hasn't been since yr2. "Bungie was so awesome back then!" Notice how the majority of former Bungie employees left to 343. If a car gets scrapped for parts and the only thing left is the steering wheel, is it still a car? No. "But the gameplay is so smooth and art is so awesome!!!" Tetris has smoother gameplay and it's free. Any other mainstream pvp games have the same feel. Destiny doesn't have the best graphics.. It's 2016. You're in denial if you think it does. "It is fun you troll!" Really? That's why you come to the forums to complain everyday? Makes sense "But all my friends still play this chore!" You know you and your friends can transition to another game right? And you could always, you know, make new friends. It's a game, not a marriage with kids and expensive assets involved. Is your pride/ego really so high that you're willing to waste couple more years on a project destined to fail? I barely come on the forums. Feel free to follow and create a timeline of my posts and comments. Starting to think it's more about not letting the "trolls" win and less about what you really want to do. Because apparently Internet pride and rep mean everything now lol. But hey, if you want to stay on the back and forth fence for the rest of destiny's lifetime to get disappointed repeatedly, to complain everyday on the forums, and to pick fights with people who don't agree with you on the Internet, sounds like the "trolls" and "haters" won either way.

 •
Starting to think it's more about not letting the "trolls" win and less about what you really want to do.
I had a guy tell me to go kill myself (Not kidding) and that he was going to buy D2 even if it was the worst thing ever just to spite me. So yeah, I can definitely confirm that to be one of the various reasons for some people, unfortunately. Honestly, I've had a major back-up on games for a while now. I got so swept up playing Fallout 4 and Halo 5 that I had to finally pull myself off of those games so I could try and get caught up playing others. Fallout 4 is STILL not beaten... Because god damn Bethesda and expanding their settlement options. I've been needing to go find that Virgil guy for like...ever, it seems. The Witcher 3 Blood and Win Expansion is HUGE. I finally managed to jump on there and started it up. Took one look around at everything and was just like "NOPE...I'll save this for later." That will probably be next on my list. Dragon Age: Inquisition is my current project. I had beaten the game on 360 but my wife got the Game of the Year Edition for PS4 which had all the DLC for it. I JUST finished the Jaws of Hakkon stuff which was epic sauce and now I'm currently working on The Descent DLC. There's also the Trespasser DLC that gives the game a whole new ending which thank--blam!-ing-god because I was seriously left wanting more after I beat the game previously. Divinity: Original Sin for the PS4 is looking to be an excellent game WHICH ALSO HAS SPLIT-SCREEN 2 PLAYER. The game plays just like D&D which I'm totally digging it. Me and my wife play this one together. Dark Souls 3 is something I already beat but as per usual one playthrough is never enough. I need to revisit it at some point and do a second run so I can try and piece a few more puzzles together regarding the lore. Some really interesting things left to be figured out. Warframe is...endless. That's something I'll be on and off with cause there is literally no end to that game. Pokemon Omega Ruby, still have plenty of Pokedex entries to finish getting. XCOM 2 hasn't even been touched... There's just so many that still need beating. x_x
