Whats wrong with shoulder charge?
I've been seeing a resurface of people (mostly huntards) starting to cry about shoulder charge (again). So what's wrong with it this time? Is it the fact that you see a Titan run towards you thinking he's going to give you a hug? Is it that you have to think a half hour before you shoot the Titan running towards you? Yes it one shots you, but he needs to be next to you in order to do that. Guess what can (usually) one shot someone beside you: shot guns.
Or another idea is to just not be so salty

1 ReplyShoulder charge is not OP. It's just annoying when you have a titan trying to SC you and you kill him just to run around the corner with your shotgun and get shoulder charged. And then you redrawn and head for B because a defender bubble is on it And you think you can get rid of it with a nova bomb but before you get there you see something on your radar so you take out your shotgun (by the way there are too many people saying that you should watch your radar if you want to avoid SC but it's not always going to be a SC titan. And if you have a sniper then you can't kill him fast enough unless you pull of an epic no scope head shot but that's highly unlikely. People say to just use a shotgun but maybe I don't want to have to always use a shotgun in order to counter a SC titan) but before you can kill him he SC you. SC is just so overused. On some maps it's juggernought, on others it's SC. I had so many gramatical errors and I had practiccaly no punctuation.

1 ReplyIs it true that if you max armour and have a chest piece that reduces arc damage that you can survive shoulder charge? I'm sure that happened to me yesterday but I haven't gathered enough evidence so far.

Edited by Ascar: 8/1/2016 6:06:45 PMSorry for any Mistakes/ spelling isues Im a Hunter Main, and played a fair bit of Striker Titan, and I can truly say, Shoulder Charge is not "OP" its more WEAK, since more and more people are going back to Shotgun play, or even Uni Remote, and any [u]Good[/u] Player will outsmart the at you running w/o any defense Titan. [spoiler]The only thing that i consider to Strong atm is the duration from Supression Grenades. The Subclasses are at the most balanced point they ever have been[/spoiler] [spoiler]I just think TG, Shadestep should be like they used to befor, Firebolts too, only a DoT decrease to 3 per Tic, and 5 tics in total, beeing 15 Damage with all Perks "on"[/spoiler]

No it's that Titans have a skill perk outside of a fully charged melee/grenade that can ohk on a......what 5second cool down. Personally IDGAF but that's the issue.

Edited by Swiftlock: 7/31/2016 7:52:27 PMThe problem is that subclasses and weapons keep getting the crap nerfed out of them to the point where players feel better either running around recklessly with SC/Shotguns or playing passively with Snipers to get kills. Shoulder Charge does not need a nerf, but it IS a problem in that it shows that certain other subclasses aren't in a good place right now when the Striker's kit is so well-balanced.

Nothings wrong with it people just use it alot and that causes people to think it's overpowered when it really isnt
