Turning off notifications solves the short term problem, but these guys should still be banned. This is overt cheating. You can't even use the old, I didn't know I was downloading in the background excuse here.

Yea they should but all you can do that might make a difference is report them in game. And until Bungie or Sony do something, the only way to avoid being a victim is to turn them off while playing. I have my phone linked to my PS4 account so Id get the msgs on there so I'd still know if someone tried it so I could report them.

Edited by Ohotteee: 7/30/2016 7:39:06 AMthis came out of nowhere, and normally i dont care who i get msgs from, but to say turn it off and ignore it while people run around spamming ppl enticing them to leave, is nothing but a cop out. and plus the problem isnt solved, because theyre still flooding my inbox with Spam, all for playing a game.

Its not a cop out, its your only option. Posting on here isn't going to make a difference, they will still do it and it will still annoy other people into leaving a game. But if people start turning off their notifications when playing PVP then it makes their efforts to cheat powerless. Until Bungie move the radar or Sony move the notification bar this will still happen.
