Guess I'll finally reply to this: It's been a long day. My assistant Brewer is on vacation so all of the workload is on me. Milled 1,000 pounds of grain 55 pounds at a time, cleaned and hand scrubbed a giant fermenter (imagine scrubbing burnt caramel off of a stainless steel pot 6 feet high and 6 feet across), filled kegs and delivered them 45 min away, picked up beer from another brewery and hand trucked it into our cold room, and set up for brewing tomorrow. About a 12 hour day of mostly hot, physical labor and driving while it's 90+ degrees outside and even hotter in the brewery. Just about done, then get to wake up and start my brew day at 7:30 am tomorrow. It sounds like complaining but I'm having a beer now and feeling pretty good. Need to go home soon, make and eat dinner, marinate some beef jerky to make tomorrow, and get a little rest. I'm beat, but life is good.
