Nothing fancy, just some veg (apparently not done for long enough) and meatballs.

Huh. Is that a common dinner over there? Was it Italian meatballs with marinara? If you want some help I can send you a couple of easy, delicious recipes.

Just supermarket meatballs in the oven with steamed veggies. :P Boiled potatoes that I can't seem to boil right. Steamed carrot that for the life of me remained harder than a teenager at a strip club.

There's a joke in here somewhere about perpetuating a stereotype of bad British food. Just can't seem to find one though. Cooking can be a little challenging but there are some great, easy recipes out there. You just need to find the ones you're good at and refine them. Also, it may seem like a pain but make as much from scratch and fresh ingredients as possible.

Well, when I'm experimenting for myself, sure. When I'm cooking for three other people, I'm gonna stick to what I know (better).
