Its totally worth it if you've got the time and money (because it will eat away at both) I had to have the guy who runs my local game store explain how it works to me. My advice would be to find a local group that is currently playing it, and ask them to teach you. Its much easier when you have a hands on experience.
And believe it or not, most basement dwelling nerds love to teach it to others. They're really nice people.

Local area is an issue bc I have cows and sheep as neighbours. But Yeah ill seek one out
