Pro tip: if you see a teammate taking A, guard C and B from your spawn. No enemies will spawn there.
Stop acting like there's nothing you can do about it.

Just hoping I don't get picked off because I know the moment I do, enemies spawn behind my team and we are at A with sad looks on our faces wondering which idiot flopped the spawns. It's probably worth mentioning all my friends moved on to other games and I spend most of my time in the crucible solo.

Then you just need to find more crucible friends. Playing solo is usually not optimum, at least have a friend or two.
