The timer on it runs even when you turn the game off. Use it right before you log off and it will be gone by the next time you log in.

Correct. You shouldn't have to. Be let's be real. It's been this long so far and they haven't added a delete option for it. It's not game breaking to them so they aren't worried about fixing it. Unfortunately, the complicated way is also the only way to get rid of them. And it will still be faster than waiting for them to fix it.

You maybe right ...but I am hopeful ..wrong maybe ...but some people say bungie care about their game Not a big problem ...yes but this issue of not having a deletion enabled on an item is a systematic oversight ... They should nip it in the bud .
