I feel it should be addressed as well, that Destiny takes on a theme of
"The Rule of Three"
Three guardians
Three Weapons
Three abilities (super, melee, grenade)
Three classes
The Tricorn, destiny's logo, is in the shape of three.
If they added a fourth element to destiny, it would be out of context of the games theme.

But there are plenty of fantasy games that relied on 3 classes and 3 elements but eventually graduated to a new concept. They could definitely release a fourth class/element later in the game life now that the foundation is there.
-
True, the classes were modeled after the classic trio of the Wizard, Knight, and Ranger. But still. Maybe in the future though, you're right.

Edited by Zelrons: 7/18/2016 11:13:42 PMThere are also three stats, three attributes, three nodes in every upgrade branch, three joinable factions , fireteams of three, and three driveable vehicles. But then there's also four jumps, four damage types, six armors (four originally), six "planets" (four originally), five enemy factions (four originally), and five item rarities.
-
There are actually four drivable vehicles. Pikes, Heavy Pikes, Interceptors, and Sparrows. (Technically speaking you could say five with your ship but that's just dumb) Not trying to be rude, just helping out :D
-
Your ship isn't driveable. That's why I made a point of specifying. I actually forgot about Heavy Pikes.
-
There are some 2 perk trees. Y1 raid weapons have the disruptor perks (unless you don't count those because they can be applied in addition to increase damage)
-
You know I never really thought about that... #HalfLife3Confirmed.

That is true, very true I hadn't seen it in as much depth as you mentioned, but it also seems that the 'three queens' explained by Toland in the Grimoire corresponds to things in the game as well.
