the SNIPER SOUL just entered my PLAYSTYLE

i've never been a pvp kind of guy; mind you, when i try-hard, i'm quite the beast (go ahead, look up my all time negative K/D *and* my all time best games, i'm sure i'm extremely above average at my best-of-the-best) i've always considered myself a "rogue" character, scouts and snipers, javelins and bows, ect ect, the HUNTER was my calling in destiny, and after amassing 5000 grimoire (yeah, you can check that too) i've deleted my other characters and created 2 additional role-play hunters (still building up the 2nd extra) to perfect my skills beyond the normal bounds i've always been a tactical sniper, one that stays in the same area, many meters from the fray, picking off heads one by one, i'd never seen these combat snipers than can one-shot you without a scope from 1 meter away, that is not in my skill set not to say i have "never" done those types of shots, but they are not in my natural instinct as a personal player, most of the time when i "try" to be a combat sniper, my thinking is : "this is a sniper lane, i must counter it with another sniper" or "this is a long distance map, a sniper would do better here" this has never really helped me, until today, when i was building up my nooby gunslinger extra, and for the first time, while having my back against the wall against a hoard of enemies (this role play is scout and sniper only, FORCING me to master those guns, with no way out in any situation), a weird feeling came over me i wasn't doing so well with my scout, but there were so many enemies, it just wasn't cutting it, and i was in a weird sweaty mode, and all of a sudden, i pulled out my sniper, and this odd feeling came over me it wasn't a "well i better run away and get my sniper out" or "lengthen the distance and use my shorter scope" or any other tactical phrase the words running in my head were "okay, okay, now i'm going to murder you all with this sniper" i found myself landing all my shots, head shots, and actually running back into the fray; i was taking long distance shots, close shots, a few shots i didn't even pull out the scope, i just rammed the end of my sniper into their chest, pulled the trigger, and punched them to death with the remaining damage it was no longer in my head to use the sniper for a tactical purpose, but rather just to kill, maim, and murder, a very savage emotion the sniper was no longer a tool to use against bosses (DPS) and long range enemies, it was my right hand, bringing death and justice to all that was on the other end of the barrel - - - - - TL;DR so after all of that entered my mind, i wondered if this was how those OP snipers in crucible feel on the battle field, they aren't using the sniper because it works well, but rather they use the sniper PERIOD they have adapted over the last few years to use it in any situation, long range, short range, 1HKOs, face blasts in tight corridors; and the like i have always focused on circumstance so much, i've never actually thought to just kill anything and everything with the sniper, rules be damned maybe you OP snipers understand me, and wish to congratulate a new member that truly understands sniping, maybe i'm just losing my mind, idk, but man, that feeling i'll admit, i'm a JRPG Casual, only around for the story and interraction, shooters are not my first pick, but hot damn, that kill streak, and the rage i felt when my sniper ammo ran out, it was intense i sat back, thinking of all the times i've been wrecked but outrageous snipers over the years, and i laughed, merely replying back (in my head) " i get it, now " anyhow, even my TL;DR was long, but this felt like something to be said, so there it is cheers
