Preadyth's Revenge, Oh How I've Missed You
I recently got a Preadyth's Revenge from VoG a couple weeks ago after dismantling it accidentally in HoW.
This was my favourite gun in the entire game. It was my first legendary, got it a couple weeks after Destiny launched. Seeing those energies appear basically made me cry (slight exaggeration, but it was soul destroying).
Getting it again after so along felt soooo awesome! I literally gave out a small high pitched squeal, which surprised even myself, when it dropped. You could say I embraced my inner squeaker.
So I dumped a bunch of Motes of Light into it and went straight into the Crucible to use it, and oh my goodness it was like being reunited with a lost relative. I was popping heads in a purple explosion of righteousness left and right and I loved it. I have a lot of good memories with that gun.
So I want to ask you, what's your favourite gun and why? I'd love to hear any stories on how your favouritism came to be! I might be slightly obsessive, but at least I'm enjoying myself haha 😊

Gjallarhorn: I didn't spend nearly as much time looking for it as others but I wanted one. Thank you Xur ;) I have no regrets. MIDA: it saddens me how this gun is hated now because it's good in PvP. There was nothing changed from it since release until the HCR were nerfed. It was all I used in Y1 for a while. It made me love scout rifles. It's just a good and fun gun. I believe it's the Exotic I have the most kills with too. Don't hate it because it's always been good. LDR 5001: my favorite Legendary sniper in Y1, it hit like a truck, and my roll had Firefly, one of my favorite perks on a sniper. I like 1K Stare too, but nothing replaces LDR. I was ecstatic when one droped from a package a couple days ago. And it has Firefly :) Fatebringer: Do I need to explain myself? Shadow Price: I wasn't around in vanilla so I couldn't experience the gun, but I got a pretty good one from a package last week and love it. It rekindled my love of ARs too.
