So I soloed Crota's End for the first time, and now I have questions.
Managed to finally power my way through this raid solo. Eventually I want to stitch together a flawless raider run, but my strats need refinement and I can't seem to get a lot of the answers I want on youtube cuz ears don't work. So:
1 in the abyss I'm ok with don't touch me hunter stealth method but 2nd lamp rock is faster. Can't seem to nail the launch consistently though (and we won't talk about how hard of a time I have even getting my titan to the 2nd lamp). Any pointers?
2 shrieker hallway always looks so easy but I always miss the jump onto that tombstone. Is there anothet place to take the shot at the 2nd shrieker or do I need to "git gud"?
3. Deathsinger I'm using sleeper to nuke tbe closed shriekers and not deal with the wizards. Getting a consistent shot at her is trying though. I wait until the song starts and jump on a rock in the left room. Sometimes the stupid fish hooks block my shots. Is there a way to line this up better? I've noticed I can sit in the towers and scope in with a sniper to make her move before the song, but that doesn't always work to my advantage.
4. Sometimes when I raze lighter uppercut crota to make him kneel, I get pushed back or even off his platform. Is there an approach to prevent this?

Update: just got to crota on hard. Nothankyou. Sleeper sim for the thrallway, but the risk is in getting the shot off on the 2nd shrieker and escaping the blast. A blink strike on the thralls helped there. Deathsinger was easy mode w raze lighter. Run to left out of the door. Cloak, run in and uppercut the wiz, snipe shrieker, repeat on other side. Escape blast and cloak to ambush the singer w sword (tricky, she has to be low enough for uppercuts, jump combo takes too long and leaves you exposed in the room). The man himself was too much for me on hard, juggling btw red death and such, and a little button panic added to boomer damage = the ogres got me good. Too frustrating for my tastes, maybe in the future. But i think with more practice I can solo flawless normal at least. Thanks everyone for your feedback.

Edited by JammyBrit: 7/12/2016 1:47:25 AMMy method (Titan) Abyss: -ACDO Feedback Fence (one shots thralls) -Telesto (Battle runner is actually very helpful for once) -Lots of Titan skating -Striker for Transfusions and to Fist the Knights -More Titan skating + battle runner -at the end, switch to a sniper and Fist all the thrall at the last lamp for special ammo -Proceed as normal -Profit Thrallway: -I use a rocket launcher with Tracking, I jump high above the Thralls and shoot -Titan skate back to safety, rinse and repeat Death singer: I personally like being up close and personal here. However it is risky. -Sunbreaker -Invective -Rocket Launcher I sneak into the left room, (yeah Titans can sneak too!) whip out Invective and kill that Wizard Rocket launcher comes out, I jump high (avoid the Knights, but not too high due to the hanging hooks) and shoot the Shrieker Quickly nope out of there, skate to the other side rinse and repeat Once the glass is down I usually shout "it's Hammer Time!" and proceed to introduce enemies with my flaming hammers. Then it's a matter of jumping about and shotgunning her. A lot. The other ways is to jump on one of those tomb stone-like rocks in the centre room and snipe her. Sometimes I just use Ghally. Crota: I find, the easiest way is to take a hit first. Block his attack then uppercut him. When he gets up, show him the other cheek before showing him your blade. Profit

Have you tried going invisible after shooting the first shrieker, for a little more time to get in position? 3. Kill ads, invis on tombs in crystal room. 4. Jump from bottom center, strike from front right.
