I think body shots with a sniper should be have 199 damage. I also think that snipers should descope when they are hit in the head.
The only sniper I use is NLB before. I figured I should point that out before some dipshit says anything about a "crutch".

In pvp as it is now, snipers are a massive crutch. Anyone who says otherwise, is likely defending said crutch.

Found the dipshit.

Did I hurt your feelings? Truth hurts, scrub.
-
No you didn't. So it must not be the truth
-
You're garbage without your sniper. Move on.

Actually I am pretty good with everything EXCEPT snipers. Ironic, right? Actually, it is safe to say that I am terrible with snipers. (NLB excluded, of course) It sucks that you are so salty. You shouldn't live life that way. It can cause health problems. Maybe you should try yoga? You need something to get rid of all that butthurt.

If the aim assist was what it was back in year one you wouldn't be saying that it's a "crutch" would you? That's the only "crutch" part about them right now. They should reward precise shots but to have the game give unnecessary help towards their own reward for you is a bit much. Tone down the aim assist to year one standards and the "crutch" should disappear.
-
I wouldn't mind that at all. However people would still call them or anything else that they can't use and others can "crutches".
-
And I had a separate idea for the descope thing too but I have to save that for a whole different post.
-
You are going to leave me hanging? I am curious now
-
Well I guess I could build it in notes then comment here and post it later.

I wouldn't say for all snipers. But snipers like NLB should be the only exceptions to what I said. I wouldn't say 199 though because the perk would push the damage over the kill mark making it a one hit weapon anywhere. It would bring the same that high impact snipers had back when luck in the chamber impacted body damage as well. At that point it would seem like a very highly valued weapon and thus become overused leading to a nerf anyways. Also, 199 is way too high. If you have low armor or go into a match that has level advantages and you're one light level below the guy with the sniper, you will die from the body which should not be acceptable in this kind of game. If NLB were to be an exception it should only be in the 130-140 range. Give it an edge over other snipers. NLB with its body damage, UR with its range. Both take up the primary exotic slot and this should BOTH have some sort of really good edge.

Edited by LANDFIL666: 7/9/2016 1:45:52 AMWell said. I agree with that. The NLB body damage is 129 right now I believe. Edit: just hit another at 132
