The responses are quite ironic. They don't realize they are actually defending Luke Smith...
"I'm only using Zhalo because it has Arc Burn!"
"It's the only primary with a burn!"
Both are reasons why I didn't use VoC in non-solar Y1 NFs. It was the only time I switched in PvE.
In activities where burns mattered, they shoe-horned you into about 5 choices...

And to prevent kinetic guns from becoming irrelevant and underused make small arms only apply to kinetic weapons and Match Game to if you shoot a shield with the wrong burn you do zero damage or worse you heal your enemy (which is already a quite common rpg element to heal a monster if you cast the incorrect spell)
