Oh wait......
They did
-
No, they said that live updates will be free. They also said when directly asked if everything would be free now that paid dlc and microtansactions could coexist
-
Live updates includes what exactly?
-
things made by the live team (Festival of the Lost, SRL, Crimson Days, April Update, any of these that repeat in the future and any of similar depth)
-
Wasn't that suppose to be in the game at the beggining.....
-
-
You say no but like if it is a question
-
Because i question how you can question it
-
I didn't mean to make it sound like a question though.
-
They said it was no more paid expansions in year two. Rise of iron is year three.
-
They didn't say that. Kotaku is not Bungie.
-
Edited by Abrrinacave: 7/6/2016 2:45:43 AMlink did you not read the update when silver was introduced? 5th paragraph. That's bungie, not shiitake
-
I take it reading comprehension is an issue for you. That says updates and events not expansions. Kotaku said free expansions and ever since people have attributed it to Bungie.
-
So you're saying the April UPDATE was not an update? Seeing as how it also expanded the end game content, isn't it technically an expansion? And unlike you, I'm not going to stoop to insulting the other person. It accomplishes nothing.
-
Done. I've wasted enough time on you today. If you can't read I can't help you and being polite to people who don't deserve it is nothing but a waste of time.
-
You've wasted time by not making a logical argument. Instead, you decided to insult the other person because you have no actual support for your claim. Bravo.
-
I can't prove anything to you because you provided the proof for my argument but you're to illiterate to understand it. The fact that you can't read and aren't smart enough to understand simple concepts isn't a failure on my part. It's a failure of the educational system.
-
If I failed to grasp a 'simple concept', what was it?
-
What was the free expansion????
-
Edited by Abrrinacave: 7/6/2016 2:21:11 AMApril update? Light expansion, revamped prison of elders, all the chroma/desolate gear, a new strike, and a bunch of year ones weapons added back? Literally for free if you never bought silver
-
This is an mmo as they stated so why are we capped tell me that my friend.
-
Name one decent MMO that doesn't have a level cap of some sorts. I've played many and I've always waited for a new expansion to get the next level cap. I rejoined after 6 months on my ps4 and I've almost maxed out my light level with my Warlock, Hunter is following up and then my Titan. With the new expansion in tow I'll still be working on max light level for them, that's the joy of MMO's. Get max level, find the cool shit in between new max levels from future DLC's. It's a money grab, but it has some good entertainment than watching a money dance for change. The damn monkey is tied up, kind of creepy/rough there am I right?
-
That literally has nothing to do with the conversation... But I'm going to assume by capped you mean why is there a max level. Because if there wasn't, you could get infinity strong. What's the point of adding an expansion with more content when you have people who are over leveled before the content releases? ESO did the same thing, and it's an ACTUAL MMO. There's a level cap so that there is gradual progression over the lifetime of the game
-
I'm saying people would be more interested if you could continue to lv up like a fallout game.
-
There is a system like that. 5 motes a level As for actual power increase, it's exactly what I said. They have to give a feeling of expansions giving you a power increase, so each expansion has a new light level to ascend to.
