I am certain Bungie is well aware of the supercell whenever they have Arc Burn as a modifier. The gun wouldn't have elemental damage in the first place if this was a big deal.

  • Except bungie has a very well documented track record of a "lack of foresight" when it comes to weapon design. The black hammer is a pretty good item to note for this. As it was a legendary that could consistently outperform almost any exotic heavy when it comes to dps and total damage on enemies with a crit spot. The devil you don't on the other hand was just an example of a piss poor weapon design. As it was a high RoF hand cannon that held 5 bullets in the mag. It's predecessor could hold 12. And it had a stronger impact as well.

  • Black hammer can't be compared to the supercell. Totally different guns used differently. I understand your point but I wouldn't worry about it too much.

  • Ugh the Devil You Don't. A gun you virtually HAD to roll Field Scout on unless you wanted a crappy five round mag gun. Still have nightmares about trying to use that pos.
