YOU'RE BRITISH!?
Nixy... Why you no tell meh... ( ;_;)
-
I thought this was widely known?
-
-
Nah fam. I didn't know it either. Then again I don't know anyone on here *shrugs*
-
Soo nothing off there. :P
-
Eh *shrugs again*
-
Maybe I'm just blind :P But I haven't seen anything on it.
British accents are...

https://cdn.meme.am/instances/500x/60230442.jpg :)
-
Haha. No they aren't.
-
They are to a LOT of Americans, myself included. You guys just sound so sophisticated!
-
Actually I once said bloody hell in a party and the Americans in there lost their mind bit other than that no one has mentioned it. Some kids went mental about us being Ozzys once.
-
Haha. Yeah if you said that in a bar over here, looked down, there would be like 4-6 guys next to you when you looked up! What's your opinion on an American accent? Personally I'm from Minnesota, and I've been told that I don't really have an accent of any kind... :(
-
Probably because you were told that by someone with a similar accent.
-
Actually they were from Missouri. They said if they had to guess that I was from Ohio. Lol
-
Would you say you have a thick Minnesotan accent?
-
No, not really.
-
Isn't the Minnesotan accent supposed to be like the stereotypical Canadian one? Sorry for the stupid question, I'm Irish.
-
A lot are, believe me most of my family has it. But everyone I meet can't place where I'm from. It might just be because I pronounce words how they're written in the English language and don't say stuff like "Don-cha-know" and other Minnesota sayings.
-
Right. Where I'm from in Ireland, we don't have a thick farmer accent, but we don't have the diddly-diddly sing-song accent. The one I have is pretty flat, and is basically like a Welsh one.
-
I'm not an accents person. I'm more about what someone says.
-
Ah, that's fair. Well I gotta go, but I hope you have a very pleasant day.
-
You too :)
-
It should be.
-
I mean we know about it soo it is mentioned?
