I just hit lvl 144 in FO4 on ps4. But I've just been taking it easy on very hard, thinking about bumping it up to survival though.

It's more fun to start a new character. I was level 60 when I played survival on my main game and I opted out since I wanted to build up settlements.

Survival is easy from ~10th level for most people. FO4 survival is just very very hard setting. Enemies deal more damage and have more health. Legendary enemies spawn a lot more often. Giving you alot more legendary equipment. When i stopped playing all my settlements had 12 people and they were all wearing legendary gear.
