I've given up on going flawless...I do good in regular crucible(1.2 kd), but I get to trials and get wrecked, I like to be mobile and in trials it pays off to camp....not fun at all to me!!

Pays of to play smart and not run around like a lunatic yes, you can still be very aggressive and win. When i play titan it is shotgun pulse, and you just have to pick when you push. Or pick a good route to rush, to many people don't use cover correctly and wonder why they cant use a shotgun in trials. That being said there are some maps where shotguns will dominate and some where they will be completely useless.

actually you can still shotgun well on that map as there is lots of different routes( i have do it plenty of times a people like to sit in the castle with sniper or in church etc.)
