Red Death and those in its archetype should be returned to their former glory, a 2 shot kill that rewarded skilled players who were able to land all their shots on target. I'm fine with Malok and Hawksaw archetypes where they currently are, however an argument could be made to adjust Malok. We need buffs, nerfs of any kind will only exasperate the problem.

  • Those guns 2 shot as well. They just had a more consistent damage spread. If you look at year one footage, you would see that. Those guns rewarded skilled players, and with the right roles were amazing. However I'm only talking about the ones carried over into year 2.

  • but red death isnt in there archetype. and if they shot shot like just red death or nerwins or the raid one then why would i use something as unstable or slow as one of low rate fire ones.

  • Because their damage is more consistent. No one had this problem in year 1.

  • yeah because they had a smaller recoil within the burst pattern and longer range.

  • Exactly, hopscotch and spare change were used despite having other options because their base stats were very good in terms of range and stability. When compared to the nirwens mercy archetype. People used red death and nirwen because they had slightly higher ttk and could compete with hand canons at close to medium range. If you change one type of weapon the implications of that change can and will affect other types of weapons.

  • If I wanted to kill close to medium range then why not use a hawksaw type. Like said in my first edit If you're ok with making damage types obsolete then just buff the range and bullet bust stability in the red death types. Make it a longer range kill. By association if this happens then the sparchange types would have crazy rang and stability. Making it like a Colavance's duty to were when you aim in irs hard to see/kill close.

  • By making red death like all the other pulse rifles, we're just dumbing down weapon diversity. Red Death should not be in the same archetype as hawksaw or pdx-45. It should be in its own archetype.
