Master chief is the main character/hero in halo(there are several others like in reach the one armed named "cat" etc etc.) Halo is a game made by bungie Destiny is actually a halo remade but for a larger public (ps and xbox)and much more options. Unless this was bait, hence the explanation

How do those two NOT resemble? The only diffrences are destiny has more to it then halo regarding light levels, armor that co works with used subclass etc. Its hard to say destiny resembles black ops or medal of honor😂 Its a sci fi game and does not ONLY resemble halo but also doom or unreal etc. So not saying you're wrong...but i aint neither

No, he's definitely wrong. I played Phantasy Star Online for years, and the game play is literally nothing like Destiny, and the shallow level of content in PSO makes Destiny look like a veritable utopia of content. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

They closed the servers on that game quite some time ago. It was all the way back in 2000 originally for Dreamcast (yeah, you even remember that console that was ahead of it's time? haha...) Then a version of it was released after that for Gamecube and Xbox (the original one, not 360...) To be fair, when I said it lacked content, I meant the online aspect. There was an offline story mode you could play and that actually had a really cool story, and was far more 'story' content than Destiny has ever offered so far. Both modes were still fantastic for their time. However, counter to that, for the online play you had to actually pay a monthly subscription. It's been so long I can't remember exactly how much, but it was somewhere between $10-12 I believe... Finally I'll sum this up, a Phantasy Star Online 2 has been out for a few years but only available over in America for the Vita (As far as consoles go, but you can get it on PC). A version released earlier this year for the PS4 over in the east, but there is still only talk so far about getting it on PS4 over here in the west. It is a free to play game where you can pay for expansion content (like DCUO), so perhaps you'll get a chance to give it a try at some point.

Allright its a bummer its not on the ps3/4 but sounds like a cool game.....i'll keep it in mind! And yeah i remember dreamcast...way ahead of its time dont know what happened to it? But thanks, appreciated👍

But the problem was that internet connections were really crappy back then and couldn't really support the online community like it does now (back then there was really no 'always online' for homes, and being online used up your phone line unless you paid more for an extra line). Now people are like... 'What's a land line? A phone at home? What are you talking about?' ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Also the cost of investing in hardware and monthly fees for internet were costly back then since they were fairly new and not something the average household fit into their budget. So Dreamcast offered features that only a few could really take advantage of (at the time). That was one of its big selling points and features which sadly led to a failure in their amazing console. So badly in fact that Sega closed its doors on making hardware (consoles) and shifted solely to making software (games for other consoles). It was a big deal back then because Sega used to be Nintendo's major competitor; not Sony or Microsoft. [spoiler]Yeah, I know... I'm old :)[/spoiler]

Compared to the gameboy this was a true gem. Im fron 86 and yeah i've also wittnesed some consoles dissapearing fron the earth but i didnt know much about sega tottaly dropping the consoles.....they should make a comeback....that way there will be more competition between xbox wii and ps....now the 2 dominant species are the xbox and the ps.....they need more conpetition

It would be cool to see a come back from Sega, but I don't see it happening. I'm hoping that Nintendo will make a real impact with their NX as well to become a competitor again, but honestly I don't know if it'll happen. Only time will tell for sure, but yes, competition breeds better quality and effort from all sides so I'm with you there. [spoiler]To give you an idea of how old I am, the only game I've spent more hours on than Destiny is Tetris on the [b]original[/b] gameboy :) That game was my high school years...[/spoiler]
