Strikers are not OP IMO, but you kind of answer your own question. They have remain untouched since the beginning while all the others have been nerfed to some extend (except stormcaller).
So at the moment, is the go to class for the most part as it has it all, speed, great grenades, great mobility and decent super.
But I wouldnt worry much, it will be nerfed in a month or so when bungie look at their stats and realize that striker is the main choice now, with likely storm callers.
i guess they will stop when people stop playing crucible full stop. Then there will be no more no nerf.
It really annoys me when bungie is the one telling me what to use or not to use instead of me making my own decision. But hey, they have been doing this since day one havent day?
If we use a weapon too much, in a few weeks it will be nerfed, same with a subclass.
Now dont get me wrong, I know what they are trying to do, they want to force us to use all weapons and all subclasses so that when they look at their stats they can see that everyone is using right about the same guns and subclasses. Which will never happen, until or unless they make all weapons and subclasses bad, to a point where it wont matter which weapon we chose, they will all be bad... therefore nerfs will keep coming, until they make the game boring and a place to grow frustration (are we there yet?) instead of a place to have fun and have good craic... without getting to worked up about things.
