Why people think striker is op all of a sudden
I main hunter and people all over the forums are complaining how op strikers are. I find this ironic because strikers are relatively the same since launch. Guardians (especially my fellow hunters) are bitching about how op shoulder charge and FoH, only because they have saltyness left over from the last nerf. So on behalf of all hunters; I apologize if we bitch more often than usual. And we can't help it that something in our brain called the frontal bitch lobe is working over time.

1 ReplyI play only as a titan and I can tell I you it isn't that overpowered. You still have to get somewhat close to successfully get a shoulder charge kill, which is usually countered when the other guy walks backwards. Fist of havoc is strong but how often are all the other guys in the same spot to successfully be executed?

I made a post complaining about sunsinger being nerfed and some warlocks try to applogize for me complaining. All the blame is on the guy balancing the subclasses he does not have to listen to anyone. put the blame on bungie for listening to all these people that can't handle being killed by anything.

Because other things used to be better. It's never gonna stop. The only way Bungie is gonna fix this is if they make all of us only have melees. All same range and same damage... Yeah, I am exaggerating it but still.

2 RepliesI honestly think the complaints are just coming from how many strikers have appeared ever since the rework to hunters and sunslingers strikers have been created and a lot of old warlocks and hunters are just playing striker. I think there is so many complaints because there is an over abundance of strikers created now, which is not bad but as we have seen if one class is being played too much over the others Bungie will need or buff others, which I think is wrong because one I main hunter was a bit cringe on the throwing knife nerf but I don't think people should just make a new class and overpopulated crucible with it, at the end if the overpopulation doesn't stop both malok and strikers will be tampered which is not right.

Playing as a Titan helps me become a better Hunter because I know if I'm not focusing on my radar at all times I will get shoulder charged. I say this because as a Titan, I shoulder charge those just hardscoping and they don't even see it coming. I still get salty when I get shoulder charged or shotgunned, but that's the game! I just have to get a little bit better at paying more attention.

So I guess I "main" hunter and I'm not salty about anything a striker can do. In fact, of the three titan subclasses, I greatly prefer to play against strikers. Their grenades are the most conspicuous 'nades out there. But mainly I like the super; most strikers use it to kill only one dude because they're about to die. Sunbreaker is a pretty much a guaranteed multikill and defender is an absolute horror to play against in any objective-based type. I'll take a one-kill super over the other options any day. And if anyone is dying to shoulder charges enough to want to complain about it, I have two words for you: vertical space.

1 ReplyAs a titan only player I would be fine with the notion of shoulder charge consuming a melee charge IF it only gets used on contact, otherwise it can still be used as normal for mobility. It would make that one helmet exotic with the bonus melee charge more appealing to use
