Why people think striker is op all of a sudden
I main hunter and people all over the forums are complaining how op strikers are. I find this ironic because strikers are relatively the same since launch. Guardians (especially my fellow hunters) are bitching about how op shoulder charge and FoH, only because they have saltyness left over from the last nerf. So on behalf of all hunters; I apologize if we bitch more often than usual. And we can't help it that something in our brain called the frontal bitch lobe is working over time.

1 ReplyI wish Bungie would just get rid of the Hunter class entirely. They don't do anything useful that a Titan or Warlock couldn't do and they're always the first to die because of low armour. Hunters are for wimps who like running away instead of fighting. Like a bunch of hyenas that make a lot of noise but when it's time to walk the walk they suddenly left their balls in the trash can back home

I now main a Titan after using a Hunter. I disagree with shadestep and twilight nerf. Shoulder charge doesn't ALWAYS one shot. just most of the time.

I'm a hunter as well and have a striker also and don't think it's op but people complain by whatever seems to be wrecking them that day. If they get killed by a blue gun they'll ask for a nerf. I Love this community but a lot of bitches lol

1 ReplyStrikers are the flavor of the month. Till they get nerfed. Then the community will whine about another class. Till that gets nerfed. And so forth. It's a never ending cycle. If your favorite class got nerfed then it might just be karma cuz u got on here and cried op on another class or complained about it. Simple as that. If no one on these poisonous toxic forums ever cried op on a class, I wonder what that would be like. Imagine that weapon u feel u totally deserved and earned cuz of the crap u had to go through to get it, not getting nerfed. I miss my thorn and I miss my last word. Maybe we as a community should stop crying op.

How in the world is shoulder charge OP? There is a timer for it and it takes skill to land the well timed shots. And because it's timed you should be rewarded with a powerful punch.

Oh my god, for the love of Shaxx and all that is holy, Strikers were OP since launch. There is no "sudden" about it, as Shoulder Charge is the same as before. People just notice it now more due to the fact that Hunters and Warlocks have been (mostly) nerfed into mediocrity.

5 Repliesgunslingers were the same since launch and nightstalkers since they launched. bladedancers were already hit hard during dark below. hunters deserved none of the shit they got, the graph was bullshit. wtf do you expect when over 50% of destiny players are hunters. why even throw classes on there no one plays (defender). they're trying to justify their shit decisions with bullshit statistics that have no relevance.

Also another side note, I've always felt this is a broken subclass, and fix the trip mine so it -blam!-ing sticks to enemies again, flux nade is horrible and I want to complete my bounty as a gunslinger, totally unreasonable when the all the sticky nades have -blam!-ing homing yet trip mine requires skill to stick... So dumb...

You know what's sad is I'm average at crucible, and when I see a Titan running at me I throw grenades at my feet and start shooting. It works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't, but what I found out is most of the time I'm taking the Titan with me.

2 RepliesHonestly I think folks are just playing Titan more in crucible since Hunter lost some of its power. Considering switching to a close range special like the God roll fusion rifle I got from last banana. Should make short work of rushy shoulder bros.

Seems a lot more powerful when everything else gets nerfed to ruin. Snipers and mida were untouched from launch too. Suddenly they were "broken" Doctrine type autos were the worst guns in the game. 0.04% buff and they're broken

It's just the fact that all other classes have been nerfed so much, that now they really just don't stand up to the titans anymore like they used to. It's like if you imagine all the classes as nails, lined up next to each other in a 2x4. All of the nails representing hunters and warlocks have been nailed down to where only their heads are just above the board, while titans have barely been touched. In fact, they've been pulled out a little here and there. Now, the titan subclasses just all stand so much higher than the other classes, and that makes them stand out. Maybe some day Bungie will "get gud" at nerfs and they won't "over-do" their nerfs. Then it won't seem like whatever is left untouched is "OP" in comparison. Then, maybe it also won't feel so frustrating to fight against a class that has retained all of their strengths, while your hunter or warlock had been hit multiple times by the nerfs.

People who complain about Striker Titans are OP need to play as a Striker Titan more often. Titan's claiming that one of their own subclasses is OP need to stop running Sunbreaker or Defender and switch to Striker.

I noticed since the patch my KD has gone up! It's probably cause I had "some" gun skill and now the noobs had their nades and abilities nerfed. I no longer have to run away and hide for 20 mins till burn goes away or wait helplessly until the poison smoke kills me [spoiler]i am a hunter and this patch pleases me [/spoiler]

I'm a hunter and the only thing I don't like is the constant balancing of weapons. The only thing that needs to happen for the types of weapons is that people need to learn how to use them effectively and how to counter the so called 'op' weapon. It's so frustrating getting a favorite primary and then a patch screws it all up! Just let us play

1 ReplyI play only as a titan and I can tell I you it isn't that overpowered. You still have to get somewhat close to successfully get a shoulder charge kill, which is usually countered when the other guy walks backwards. Fist of havoc is strong but how often are all the other guys in the same spot to successfully be executed?
