Why people think striker is op all of a sudden
I main hunter and people all over the forums are complaining how op strikers are. I find this ironic because strikers are relatively the same since launch. Guardians (especially my fellow hunters) are bitching about how op shoulder charge and FoH, only because they have saltyness left over from the last nerf. So on behalf of all hunters; I apologize if we bitch more often than usual. And we can't help it that something in our brain called the frontal bitch lobe is working over time.

I honestly can't think of a nerf in that recent list that I agree with. I mean, it's not like all of them are floating around in my head but no sticky trip mines? I had no problem with being stuck with those if someone managed it. Good for them. And I don't see why blink should take recovery down. Did that affect warlocks too?

1 Replyi main the titan since the beta because #titanmasterrace. i am garbage tier at pvp but i dont care about that silly crucible nonsense. however: one day soon my titan brothers we will be nerfed only because of the "popularity and over usage" of the class in pvp and sadly this will hurt all of us pve defender players :( such a shame bungie "balances" the game based on what is FUN TO USE :( just remove the crucible and make destiny great again!!!

I laugh at the nerf striker posts. I have more time on my striker titan than my other two characters combined and have always felt I was at a disadvantage compared to other classes

1 ReplyI used trip mine stickiness and throwing knives to shut down shoulder charging Titans or players that rush with shot guns. When it got real bad I would use the doctrine also. Now trip mines don't stick or kill Titans at all. Not only were throwing knives nerfed they feel like hit box has been hugely reduced. I was no longer able to single tap in the head with a hand cannon of scout rifle and kill with knife to head. I know the doctrine need to be nerfed but next to the last word it was the only good defense against the above average skating Titan or sliding shotgun player ( hunters and warlocks included ). I don't like tho run shotguns for the simple fact I like to shut down supers. That's the only reason I have a sniper equipped. Here's a video I made a while back. It started with the Vex Mythoclast nearlyb2 years ago, then after the first nerf, it was all a blur. Auto rifles were next. Nothing immune to nerfs At this rate shaders will be nerfed too. I don't know how, I'm not a botanist. But it will happen.

Agree! Warlock main here. Strikers are fine! People of all classes calling for nerfs need to simply go away. Game is far better off without you.

2 RepliesIt's really simple actually. Hunters and Warlocks were nerfed to poop in PvP while Strike went untouched now they are at the top. Our counters to their Shoulder charge and melee have been nerfed. Firebolt- Good Against shoulder charge, nerfed Throwing Knife- nice shoulder charge counter, nerfed Arc bolt grenade- Good against incoming shoulder charge, nerfed Flame shield melee- Good against Titan melee, but Titan melee is so fast that the nerf to flame shield gives them advantage. Blink- Used to be able to run away from a Striker with it but now Blink is trash. Also I have to point out that other classes move pretty slow when compared to Striker Titan so it's nearly impossible to run away from one and avoid a shoulder charge in the back. All the weapons were nerfed to poop, Takes a crap ton of bullets to kill any enemy in the crucible now. Also Shoulder charge is pretty poorly designed and has been since launch, by this I mean the way it can kill you at times even if they miss just by readjusting to the target. Strikers have the best PvP grenade in the game. Despite all this I don't want Titans to be nerfed, I just wish Bungie would stop this nonsense with nerfing everything and making the game worse. Titans surely you saw this coming, The other classes get nerfed and who do you think is next? Keep fighting because I don't want to see Striker nerfed, if it is I'm done with this game.

It's the only thing that hasn't been hit by nerfs, if they seriously nerf Striker that will give me yet another to play Overwatch.

25 RepliesI don't see anything wrong with the class either. Lightning grenades are easy to avoid. Also idk how people can bitch about that when voidwalker, blade dancer, stormcaller all have heat seeker grenades that you literally don't have to be strategic at all to use... (I main voidwalker in pvp so I know it works >:]..) also like 300 other people said if you see them coming just get out of the way? It's not hard lol. Stop complaining before we're all forced to play watered down classes. Sunsinger was fine. Golden gun is fine. Blade dancer is fine. Things worth bitching about = Infinite Titan hammers, that was an actual problem. Strikers finally becoming playable isn't an issue. Adapt or die

It comes down to majority use. A lot of hunter were being used before patch so people thought it needed a nerf because they kept getting killed by hunters but it makes since since most people were playing as a hunter your probably going to get killed more by hunters. Well after the patch a majority of hunters switched to Titans and now everyone is getting killed by Titans because you have your Titan main players and then you have your hunters that are switching to Titans and then you have your other players that are hyped for RoI so they want to make a Titan. Since Titan is getting the majority of use now people want it nerfed because they are getting killed by them more.
