Why people think striker is op all of a sudden
I main hunter and people all over the forums are complaining how op strikers are. I find this ironic because strikers are relatively the same since launch. Guardians (especially my fellow hunters) are bitching about how op shoulder charge and FoH, only because they have saltyness left over from the last nerf. So on behalf of all hunters; I apologize if we bitch more often than usual. And we can't help it that something in our brain called the frontal bitch lobe is working over time.

45 RepliesThe reason why now people whine about Titans and shoulder charge is due to the sniper meta. Everybody and their mother have a sniper as a secondary weapon and hardscope a lot. That result in a lot of deads by shoulder charge because they don't look at the radar and don't have a shotgun to defend their selves when a striker close to them. At the beginning of the game a lot of people used a shotgun as secondary weapon allowing them to look at the radar and kill a shoulder charging Titan but with the Nerf of the shotguns and use of snipers now people feel defenseless against Titans. So my advice is [spoiler]stop trying to be a MLG 360 no scope pro sniper, get a shotgun or fusion rifle and use your primary for mid range and your secondary for close range. And if you don't want to use those tipe of weapons stop hard scoping and pay attention to your radar [/spoiler]

Everyone that played in year one knows that striker titans and voidwalker warlocks were OP in PvP, this is old news. Play all the subclasses, use the weapons you like, quit being told what to use to make the game easier. [spoiler]here's a cookie and a trophy for showing up[/spoiler]

2 RepliesFirst, unless someone reads every single nerf for shoulder charge to determine the players main, to arbitrarily say it's hunter main players calling for a nerf is just an assumption. Remember, warlocks sunsinger was deemed as "ok" the patch before this last and fire bolt was untouched. Then bungie posts: [quote]As promised, we kept an eye on Warlocks after the previous patch. Sunsingers, while not out performing other classes, are still creating frustrating encounters.[/quote] This sets a dangerous precedence. Bungie has now proven that they will nerf [b][i]NOT[/i][/b] because it's necessary ("while not out performing other classes"), but just because frustrated players bitch loud enough. If anyone should be salty it's warlock mains. So, hunter main players seriously got f*cked last patch. Warlock main players got unjustly f*cked by bungie's own admission. The call for shoulder charge nerf has nothing to do with it being op, this is a class war. "F*ck with my shit, I'll f*ck with yours." That frustrating encounters for warlocks came from bitching. Shadestep went untouched for almost a year before about 2 months of incessant bitching rook it's toll. So, now it's time for revenge and the higher use of shoulder charge had made it a great target. Bungie has proven with the sunsinger nerf that all we gotta do is bitch enough, regardless if it's "out performing" or not. Some people should've just kept thier mouths shut. Karma, what goes around. Hunters got hit. Warlock's got hit. Now it's titans turn. This is a class war.

Titan supers r not OP ppl just like to bitch. I main a warlock and we got nerfed hard w sunsinger but titans do not need a nerf. Blade,gun, and sun need to be buffed just a little to make them a tad more viable. No one need a nerf so everyone complaining, stop complaining.

Because people are shit. These players that complain probably want everything to be equal and all the classes to have the same perks/abilities. Bring back year 1.

I honestly can't think of a nerf in that recent list that I agree with. I mean, it's not like all of them are floating around in my head but no sticky trip mines? I had no problem with being stuck with those if someone managed it. Good for them. And I don't see why blink should take recovery down. Did that affect warlocks too?
